The first red rose yet in my favourite novel…
Our love too withered like this red rose.

With the fumes you faded
And disappeared in ashes.
Burning your pictures didn’t bring me any peace.

Wrong aces

I built a palace of hearts.
I built it with the the pack of cards.
All red of hearts.
On the top of the palace placed the king and the queen.
A gush of the wind and the palace is ruined.
It was never meant to be, I guess.
It seems we aced it wrong.

There comes a time when you lose everything.
The everything that you thought you had, now in the possession of the other.
Weep not.
Smile, take a step back… and begin a new beginning.
For you are worth more than what you lost.
